I'm back....

but i don't know for how long. It's been over a year and a half pretty much since i've blogged. I'm horrible at it, but every time i read some of my friend's blogs it makes me want to get back to it and do it. I love reading all the things that my friends write about - especially my camp friends, because I miss being at camp so much. I wish I could move camp to my world. It's such a great place. I'm leaving this weekend to head to Daytona before the oil gets around there. I'm very excited about going, but I'm sad because my nephews are coming the same time that I'm at the beach. Now, normally I would have cancelled my trip, but this has been planned for over 6 months and you can't just change the date and be assured to get another one. So...I'm just going on with my plans. They will be back July 4th, so i'll see them for a little while then. I'm also excited that I'm going to Oregon this summer. I've never been to Oregon so I'm looking forward to it. We are also going to drive down to California and see the redwood trees. I don't really know what else we'll be doing, but I'm looking forward to it. Well, good night all! We just got finished with a long weekend!!! It was good to have an extra day off this weekend. Sunday night, I went to Winter Jam 09 hosted by Newsong. Lots of Christian artist were there...Newsong, TobyMac, Brandon Heath, Hawk Nelson, PureNRG, and a few others that I can't remember their names or how to spell them. I got to sit behind my good friend Rachel and watch her text on her iphone the entire time while I am drooling over it! Did I ever mention that I covet an iphone really really badly?

Monday was spent furniture shopping with the parentals and they FINALLY THANK THE LORD picked out some furniture that made everyone happy! I just hope that we don't get it and everyone hates it!! It is very nice though!!

Anyway...thats about all I have for tonite. I'm slighty beat, but glad for a short week this week!!!

Thank Goodness Tomorrow is Friday!!!

Amen to that! Today was so stressful!! I totally went off on 2 kids in my class today. One of them, i went off really bad on and he didn't deserve it. The other one, well, I shouldn't say he deserved it, but he did. Kids never deserve for you to yell at them, but I had just about had it!! The bad thing was, we had just finished a character lesson on Caring and words that hurt and then i let loose. I guess it was an example of not having a caring heart because I definitely didn't!! I finally came to my senses and apologized to him, the class and even in an email to the kids mom! She was very understanding!!! I still feel awful about it!!

Tomorrow is the 100th day of school! I can't believe 100 days have gone by!!! Maybe I'll post some pictures that I take!! I know it has nothing to do with my post and I wish i knew how to get the picture to appear below the text, but I haven't figured that one out yet!!

So I Failed....

I missed a few days of posting a picture! But, I had very good excuses!! My friends were here from England and that preoccupied me for a few days. I didn't even get on facebook hardly at all!! It was great have them here even if it was just a few days. I was able to get out of work one day to spend with them! That was fun. My pictures aren't loaded yet, but when they are, I'll be sure to post one. In the mean time, here's some pictures from New Year's Eve! Enjoy!!

Georgia National Fair

This is a picture that I took at the best fair in the world - The Georgia National Fair in Perry, Georgia. It's not anytime soon, but it will be here before we know it. October 8th - 18th are the dates this year for it! I went 3 times this past year and I'll at least go that many times next time, I'm sure. Isn't this a great picture...i took it with my little cheap Kodak camera, but I thought it turned out great!!!

One more picture...let me give a shout out to my childhood/high school buddy - Michael Prettyman on his 35th birthday!! He says he's halfway to 70! I'd rather not think about the fact that I'll be there in a few months!! So...Happy Birthday Michael. Too bad you won't read this because I don't think you have a blogspot!!

Isn't this the best picture??? Nephews are great and I wish they didn't live so far away!!! Maybe since I am terrible at this blogging thing, I'll try to just post a picture a day!!! We'll see how that works!!!
